الزمن في برديات مدن الياسمين مستل من رسالة ماجستير بعنوان : " البنية السردية في خماسية أميرة بهي الدين " Time in the Cities of Jasmine papyri Excerpted from a master’s thesis entitled: “Narrative Structure in the Amira Bahi El-Din Quintet”

وقد تناول هذا البحث بعنوان : الزمن في برديات مدن الياسمين الحديث عن استعمال الزمن في الرواية، وقد تم تقسيمه لمبحثين:
الأول تناول الجانب النظري للزمن الروائي، حيث درس : المعنى اللغوي للزمن، المعنى الفلسفي للزمن، أهمية الزمن في الرواية، أنواع الزمن وتقسيماته الروائي.
و المبحث الثاني تناول استخدام الزمن في رواية برديات مدن الياسمين، ليبحث :
الترتيب الزمني في الرواية : الترتيب الطبيعي للزمن، و تقنيات المفارقات الزمنیة في الرواية مثل (الاسترجاع، والاستباق)، و يدرس كذلك تسريع السرد من خلال ( الخلاصة، تقنیة الحذف)، و تعطيل السرد من خلال (تقنية المشهد، الوقفـة الوصفيـة)، ويتم دراسة الزمن النفسي في الرواية من خلال (تداخل الزمن، تلاشي الزمن أو فقده)، ثم ينتهي المبحث بدراسة الامتداد الزمني في الرواية.
This research, entitled: Time in the Jasmine Cities Papyri, dealt with the use of time in the novel, and was divided into two sections:
The first dealt with the theoretical aspect of fictional time, where he studied: the linguistic meaning of time, the philosophical meaning of time, the importance of time in the novel, and the types of time and its divisions in the novel.
The second section deals with the use of time in the novel Cities of the Jasmine Papyrus, examining:
The chronological order in the novel: the natural order of time, and the techniques of chronological paradoxes in the novel such as (retrieval, and anticipation). It also studies the acceleration of the narration through (the summary, the deletion technique), and the disruption of the narration through (the scene technique, the
