1. Advancing linguistic and Islamic sciences in both theoretical and applied fields while enhancing the quality of research and studies in these areas.
2. Promoting and disseminating authentic and constructive Arab-Islamic culture that fosters moderation and preserves the Arabic language and Islamic identity.
3. Exchanging academic expertise among researchers within and outside Egyptian universities.
4. Establishing active academic partnerships with esteemed universities and research centers at local, regional, and international levels.

Specializing in Arabic and Islamic sciences across the following disciplines: (Grammar, Morphology, and Prosody – Linguistics, Semitic, and Oriental Studies – Literary Studies – Rhetoric, Literary Criticism, and Comparative Literature – Islamic Sharia – Islamic Philosophy – Islamic History and Civilization).
6. Publishing academic research to develop knowledge and benefit humanity in ways that serve public interests, promote knowledge, and facilitate cultural exchange.
7. Supporting researchers, enhancing their capabilities, and enabling them to share their constructive ideas.
8. Strengthening the faculty’s role in social responsibility by addressing intellectual and societal challenges through high-quality research and studies.
9. Aligning with the faculty’s vision and its commitment to a balanced, moderate approach, in harmony with Fayoum University’s mission and objectives.

To achieve these objectives, the editorial board of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom Journal at Fayoum University seeks to fulfil the faculty’s mission and to establish research and publication as a means of advancing and documenting knowledge through a solid framework of ethical standards, traditions, and norms that aim to establish a foundation for a new and promising era in research.
