Al-Kisa'i's views on the raised nouns and their impact on guiding the interpretation of Al-Razi. Extracted from a master's thesis entitled: Al-Kisa'i's views on the great interpretation of Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi and their impact on guiding the interpretation of Al-Razi.

Abstract

Abstract
This research studies Al-Kisai's views on the nominative cases of nouns in the interpretation of Imam Al-Fakhr Al-Razi. The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of Al-Kisai’s opinions on guiding the Qur’anic meanings presented by Imam Al-Fakhr Al-Razi in his grand Tafseer. This is achieved by examining Al-Kisai’s linguistic, grammatical, and recitational views, including his opinion on the subject of the nominative case in the subject (mubtada) and the nominative case of the word “al-sabi’oon” in the verse: "Indeed, those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians..." It was concluded at the end of the research that Al-Kisai believes that the subject and predicate are both raised through one another. Additionally, he was interested in the phenomenon of vocalization and phonetic transformations, and their impact on changing the meaning of words in the Qur’an. The study also found that Al-Kisai varied his recitations between different vocalizations, sometimes switching from fathah to kasrah, from dammah to kasrah, and from fathah to dammah, which helped guide the Qur’anic meaning in diverse ways. The researcher recommends the need for further study on the impact of Al-Kisai's recitations in contemporary Tafseers.
