Abstract

Abstract :
This study attempts to clarify the forms of experimentation and the mechanisms of its operation in the short story collection, "The Passions of the Crows", by Yahya Al-Sheikh. It also attempts to examine the impact of these experimental forms on shaping the literary significance of this collection. The study stopped at some forms of experimentation in that group, and noticed, during this, that the attempts at experimentation in the group are not an end in themselves, but rather a means to other ends, all of which are related to the significance of the group; That is to say, experimentation in this collection of short stories is not a verbal embellishment, or something superfluous that can be dispensed with; rather, it is a major pillar of its foundations, and an important factor in highlighting its meaning.
