This research discusses Imam al-Nawawi’s methodology in scrutinizing rulings on Hadiths, highlighting his critical approach in dealing with the corrections of al-Hakim al-Naysaburi in his book "Al-Mustadrak". Al-Nawawi aims to clarify the defects of the Hadiths, verify the chains of narration, and rely on the statements of the scholarly critics to either refute or confirm al-Hakim's judgments. The research showcases al-Nawawi's position as a proficient Hadith critic, combining jurisprudence and Hadith sciences, weighing the Hadiths with a scientific precision.
