Abstract

Research Summary
The subject of this research is summarized in standing on the most important features of the personal trend of a poet from the most prominent poets of the Umayyad era, namely Jarir bin Atiya Al-Khatri, who was able to undermine his opponents and degrade his status. He is Jarir bin Atiya Al-Khatfi, and his prominent position among the poets of his time. This position came as a result of a unique talent and unparalleled poetry in all paths of poetry, especially love, praise and satire, which he was able to color with his own color that clearly reflects the features of his personality and the personal traits, moral and psychological qualities he enjoyed, the most important of which is that he is a chaste poet with a sensitive sensitivity whose poverty did not prevent him from boasting about himself and his people until he reached them to the highest positions, relying on his unique talent that enabled him to draw pictures that embodied even the physical and moral defects of his opponents to bring them to the lowest levels, and he did not stop at the defects Moral qualities are often overlooked, because their owner has no role in them, so he can blame them and reproach them for them. Therefore, he gave the greatest space to moral qualities, as they deserve more of being censured and despised. He found in this respect a wide field for creativity and harsh criticism, which helped him greatly in his accusations.
